Here's what you should and shouldn't expect when you come to CrossFit HB.

Welcome to CrossFit HB!


Our mission is to forge a community built around the CrossFit methodology of fitness and nutrition, in order to bring the reality of elite levels of fitness to our members. Here we strive to break you away from the current, flawed fitness model that we see so prevalent in the world today. You won’t find big mirrors, fancy equipment or juice bars once you enter our doors. At our facility we utilize only the tools necessary to build elite levels of fitness – barbells, kettles, pull-up bars, determination and sweat.

Free Community Workouts

Our Community Workouts are monthly events held the 1st Saturday of Each Month. All current Members can bring friends, family, co-workers, or new acquaintances to the box and join us for a fun and effective CrossFit workout.

These workouts are designed for scalability so that both new and veteran athletes can adjust the workout to a difficulty that suits their needs and fitness. This is the perfect chance to get those who have asked you about CrossFit up to the box to learn more about the benefits of our programs and let them share in the fun of working out and interacting with our community!

The workout starts at 9am Saturday morning. Anyone is welcome, so start spreading the word and we'll see you there!

    WODing Around the World: A guide for maintaining fitness while traveling I love California. I love it so much that I will go so far as to say that I think that there is no better place in the world to live. Where else is it 80 degrees on a Sunday in March? As the rest of the world is just starting to melt away the remnants of what was an overwhelmingly cruel winter and head into Spring, I can only think, “Winter? Did we have one of those?” However, sometimes there are times when we have to leave this sunshine paradise and travel to places far and beyond because life happens and traveling is good for the soul. It is my personal belief that besides the holiday season, traveling can be the second worst way to ruin an athlete; this is because when we travel we tend to put our training on hold and pick up eating habits we may not otherwise approve of because “we're on vacation” or work just simply won't allow us to get in a WOD or eat a good meal. With Spring upon us, and Summer just around the corner, I figured it'd be good to go over ways to help you stay on track when traveling.
